Toni Braxton to Star in Lifetime Movie “Unbreak My Heart”

Born in Severn, Maryland in the late 1960s, Toni Braxton has shaped the world of R&B. She quickly climbed to fame in the 1990s with smash hits such as “Un-break My Heart”, “He Wasn’t Man Enough” and “Breathe Again”. Her music career has been wildly successful through the years as she has charmed audiences with her deep, sultry voice time and time again. The singer has won seven Grammy awards, sold approximately 67 million albums and so much more!

Recently, the Lifetime network gave permission for the singing starlet to create a television movie of her life story. Not only will the plot reveal her journey into music, fame and success but it will also delve into the depths of her personal life and struggles. She is ready to share her intense battle with lupus, the heartbreaking divorce from Keri Lewis, her financial struggles, her son’s battle with autism and family troubles in general. Perhaps this will be an opportunity to see the power behind many of her deeply emotional ballads?

Ironically, the Lifetime movie is set to be called, “Un-break My Heart”. Don’t worry folks; the theme song will most likely be the hit song of the same name. Braxton is rumored to not only star in the film as herself but also work as an executive producer. The director title has been assigned to Vondie Curtis Hall and the writer of “Two and a Half Men”, Susan McMartin, is creating the script and storyline.
Many believe that we are about to see the running force behind the creation of that powerful ballad, “Un-break My Heart”. Quite honestly, Toni Braxton has been breaking my heart with her strong and sorrowful voice for years. It’s near impossible to listen to her incredibly unique voice without dropping a tear! Throughout her songs, it’s been evident that personal pain has fueled their creation. I don’t know about you, but I am curious to see what her life movie will unfold. After all, I think many people have known this would eventually come to fruition.

Aishwarya Rai tells why movies flop and how it can be avoided

Mumbai: Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will be seen essaying the role of an advocate in director Sanjay Gupta's upcoming movie "Jazbaa", believes that no film can flop if planned properly.
"This is a very good time for film-making business. I think business has found its security. As industry exhibition has increased and continues to grow, it gives the opportunity to make more prints and certain returns are assured to the investors," Aishwarya told IANS.
"So I think there shouldn't be any loss-making business in the film industry, and if it is well planned no film can flop," she added.
She also said that sometimes a film is perceived as a flop even though it

"In the past we may think that a film is a hit, but later come to know from producer's friends that it will take next two years to recover the money. So perception is an important aspect for the business," she said.
"Having said that, this is a great time (for films). Different subjects can be made, producers can plan the finances accordingly and that makes a good time for us actors and filmmakers to do different stories," she added.
"Jazbaa" which is a Hindi remake of South Korean movie "Seven Days", is produced by Essel Vision, White Feather Films and Viking Entertainment.

Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 web series opens with a scream

The first season of Fear the Walking Dead packed its bags on Sunday night, but the outbreak is just beginning.
The first installment of the zombie prequel’s companion web series, Flight 462, debuted Sunday on AMC.com. The video may clock in at under 90 seconds, but it’s not short on tension: A routine flight takeoff is interrupted by an anxious passenger, a woman who knows more than she’s saying, and a distant scream on the other end of the phone. Keep a close eye on this cast — someone on the flight will go on to join Fear the Walking Dead’s second season.


Flight 462 tells the story of the outbreak from the skies, as a passenger on the flight is discovered to be infected. New episodes, each just about a minute long, will air during commercial breaks throughout the new season of The Walking Dead, which premieres Oct. 11. The episodes will also be available online.

Flight 462 is produced by Fear’s Dave Erickson and David Wiener, written by Fear’s L. Signorino and Mike Zunic, and directed by the show’s director of photography, Michael McDonough. Fasten your seatbelts.

Star Wars Rebels Could Feature More Characters from the Movies

With The Force Awakens arriving in cinemas in just over two months, and spinoff film Rogue One expected in a year, there is no shortage of big screen Star Wars on the way. Ahead of this, the animated TV series Star Wars: Rebels begins a second season next week, and now producer Simon Kinberg has talked about the possibility of both the films and the show sharing characters.

In an interview with The Nerdist, Kinberg explains how carefully the Star Wars story is being mapped out across the entire franchise by Lucasfilm. "The idea of characters actually popping up or transferring from animation to live-action and live-action to animation, we're obviously open to because we have a lot of characters from the original movie and actually prequels who pop up in Rebels as substantial characters," he said.
"The thing we're really focused on is just making sure there is real continuity. That it is a unified universe from a story perspective, where anything that happens in Rebels is canon, in the same way as the original movies or prequels, the Clone Wars, and the movies going forward.
"There's just a lot of care that's taken to make sure that whatever happens in whatever different story right now is acknowledged, and that it actually feels like a coherent world or galaxy. All of it is incredibly well unified and planned."
In 2013, Lucasfilm established the Lucasfilm Story Group, a team of writers whose job it is to maintain narrative consistency across the Star Wars franchise.
Star Wars Rebels began life as a 44-minute film, called The Spark of Rebellion, in October 2014, which was followed by a 13-episode series. It is set five years before the original 1977 film, and tells the story of the formation of the Rebellion. The new season begins on October 14, 2015.

Four more 'Transformers' movies in the works over the next ten years

  So much for that promised Age of Extinction.
Forces in Hollywood are plotting four “Transformers” movies, Hasbro Studios president Steven Davis announced, promising the multiplex will be filled with giant battling robots for at least the next ten years.
“You’re going to see a new “Transformers”movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," Davis told the crowd at Saturday’s Mipcom.

"So stay tuned, 'Transformers 5' is on its way," said Davis, pausing before adding, "and 6 and 7 and 8

  There is plenty of financial incentive to keep the well-oiled box office machine going: the first four “Transformers” movies, chronicling the battle between the Autobots and the nefarious Decepticons, grossed $3.8 billion worldwide at the box office.
For Paramount, it’s also a franchise that can compete financially and in Comic Con clout with the big super hero properties of rivals Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers.


  Critics and many disgruntled fans, though, felt there wasn’t much more than meets the eye to those first four Michael Bay-directed movies. It’s unclear whether either Bay would return behind the camera or Mark Wahlberg, star of last year’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” would return in front of it.

Bay has previously said he would not return to direct for a fifth installment.
